The government shutdown has lingering impacts on ham radio. Renewals, upgrades, and applications are delayed. The ULS is still suffering problems.

Don’t let outdoor antenna limitations keep you from enjoying amateur radio. It is possible to operate on the HF bands with equipment and antenna systems that are entirely inside your house, apartment, or condominium. All it takes is some creative thinking!
